Customisation

Customise the Kaipara Lifestyle Cabin to Suit Your Space

The Duratuf Kaipara Lifestyle Cabin is designed with flexibility in mind, allowing you to configure joinery, colours, flooring and performance upgrades to suit your site and how you plan to use the space.

  • Flexible joinery opening: The main cabin opening is sized to accept standard ranch sliders, French doors, or doors with side windows. You can choose Duratuf‑supplied ranch slider joinery or supply your own custom doors and windows to fit the prepared opening.
  • Single or double glazing: Select single or double glazed ranch sliders and windows to balance budget, warmth and noise control.
  • Window layout options: Combine fixed and opening aluminium windows (in various quantities) to achieve the light levels and ventilation pattern that suits your office, studio or accommodation layout.
  • Colour coordination: Choose from an extensive colour palette for cladding and flashings so the cabin either blends in with existing buildings or makes a design statement.
  • Flooring choices: Opt for a timber or plywood floor system, or integrate the cabin with your own concrete or timber base using raised floor modifications to help manage water and moisture.
  • Performance upgrades: Add a very high wind zone kit or coastal upgrade where needed so the cabin is better matched to your site conditions.
  • Interior finishing ready: The full timber frame and supplied building paper make it straightforward to line the interior with ply or similar and to fix shelving, hooks and storage systems exactly where you want them.
