While the structural layout is set by the kit, you can still tailor how you use the shed and its interior to suit your space and storage needs.

• Add shelving and tool hooks to create dedicated zones for garden tools, small items, and lawn-care products.

DIY Construction & Assembly

The Galvo GVO1508 Ironsand shed is designed for straightforward installation by someone with good DIY skills. Panels, channels, and flashings are joined primarily with drilled holes and rivets, following a logical sequence.

DIY Difficulty Rating

• Suitable for a competent DIYer; assembly is easier with two people for handling panels.
• Allow approximately half a day for installation for a competent DIYer (excluding foundation preparation).

Assembly Overview

• Join wall sheets using rivets, with top and bottom channels drilled and riveted into place.
• Once wall and roof panels are prepared, stand the wall panels up, then drill and rivet them together.
• Fit the roof panels in the same manner, securing them with rivets.
• Drill and rivet the flashings to the shed to complete the exterior.
• Assemble the door and fix it using the supplied hinges.
• If using the optional floor kit, assemble the precut runners and floorboards with nails and a hammer, and complete the floor before starting on the shed panels.
