Construction & DIY Information

These sheds are designed to be DIY projects, however we also offer a full install service at fixed prices should you prefer someone else to do this for you. Typically a shed of this size would take one of the installers we use *one day*. See shed options for pricing.

The Duratuf Kinloch Lifestyle Shed is designed for straightforward assembly by someone with good DIY skills. The timber framing is supplied precut to nail together, creating a full frame of studs and nogs. Wall sheets of steel are then screwed to the frame, followed by steel roof sheets, flashings, and door tracks which are screwed or riveted into place. The quality roller door is supplied pre-made and is simply hung on its tracks.

If you select an optional floor kit, the joists and plywood or floor boards are precut. A few small notches may be required to accommodate the studs, and the floor components can be nailed together using a hammer.
