The Duratuf Kiwi Gable 1.7 x 4.2 shed is designed as a configurable model so you can tailor it to your site, storage needs, and aesthetic preferences.

• Colour Choices – Select standard Zincalume, a single colour, or a two-tone combination with separate wall and trim/roof colours. Wall options include Gull Grey, Lichen, Titania, and Sandstone Grey; trim, door and roof colours include Ebony, Karaka, Ironsand, Grey Friars, Permanent Green, Thunder Grey, and Nightfall.
• Roof & Light Control – Add clear roof panels on one or both sides to increase natural light inside.
• Windows & Ventilation – Choose fixed or louvre windows in various quantities to balance natural light and airflow.
• Interior Layout – Use the full timber frame to easily mount shelves, tool boards, and workbenches exactly where you want them, or line the walls with ply to create a more workshop-like interior.
• Height Options – Add extra 200mm wall height if you need more headroom or taller storage space.
• Flooring & Base Setup – Select the wooden floor and, if needed, the raised floor modification to suit your chosen base, including concrete.
• Security & Power – Include the security upgrade and take advantage of the internal timber frame to more easily run cables and mount devices such as an e-bike charger (installed by a suitable person where required).

• Wooden Floor Kit – Provides a solid timber floor surface, cut to size for this model, creating a cleaner, more comfortable interior space.

DIY Build & Difficulty

Straightforward installation for someone with good DIY skills. The shed is supplied with precut timber framing to nail together, steel sheets for the walls and roof, flashings, door tracks and a pre-made door. The optional floor kit includes precut joists and floorboards that can be nailed together, with a few small notches required for the studs.

• DIY difficulty rating: Intermediate DIY project, recommended as a two-day job for a competent DIYer.
