The Duratuf Kiwi Shed Lean-to 1.7×2.5 is supplied as a preconfigured model but offers extensive customisation so you can tailor it to your site, storage requirements, and aesthetic preferences.

• Colour flexibility: Choose from Zincalume, one-tone, or two-tone coloured finishes with separate options for wall and trim/roof colours to match your home or garden.
• Door layout and operation: Supplied with a single sliding door, ideal for narrow access areas and spaces where a hinged door swing would be impractical.
• Natural light & ventilation: Add fixed windows, louvre windows, and/or a clear roof panel to introduce light and airflow exactly where you need it.
• Extra height option: Increase wall height by 200mm to create more headroom and better accommodate tall items.
• Interior fit-out: The full timber frame makes it straightforward to mount tool boards, shelving, and benches, or line the interior with ply for a cleaner, more workshop-like finish.
• Foundation flexibility: Choose an optional wooden floor kit or use the raised floor modification when installing on a concrete base.

DIY Build & Installation

The Duratuf Kiwi Lean-to 1.7×2.5 is designed for straightforward assembly by a competent DIYer. The timber framing is supplied precut, ready to be nailed together, and the steel wall and roof sheets, flashings, door tracks, and pre-made door are all designed to fit the frame. If you add the optional wooden floor kit, the precut joists and floorboards simply nail together, with only a few small notches required for the studs.

• DIY difficulty rating: Intermediate DIY project; best as a 1–2 person job. Allow around a day and a half for a competent DIYer.
