DIY build & assembly

The Duratuf Kiwi Lean-to 2.5 x 2.5 is designed for straightforward installation by someone with good DIY skills. The shed comes with precut timber framing to nail together, steel sheets for the walls and roof, flashings, door tracks and a pre-made door. The optional floor kit includes precut joists and floorboards; a few small notches need to be cut for the studs, and the floor can then be nailed together with a hammer.

Allow around a day and a half for a competent DIYer to complete the installation.

DIY difficulty rating

• Intermediate DIY project – best as a two-person job for handling wall and roof sheets safely.
• Estimated time: approximately 1.5 days for a competent DIYer.
