DIY Construction & Installation

The Duratuf Kiwi MK1 Garden Shed is designed for straightforward installation by someone with good DIY skills. The shed comes with precut timber framing to nail together, sheets of steel for the walls and roof, flashings, door tracks, and a premade door. The optional floor kit includes precut joists and floorboards, with only a few small notches required for the studs and simple nailing for assembly.

Allow approximately one and a half days for installation for a competent DIYer.

DIY Difficulty Rating

• Intermediate DIY project, recommended as a two-person job for handling wall and roof sheets safely.
• Estimated build time: around 1.5 days for a competent DIYer.

• Riveter (free Duratuf riveter supplied in kit)

• String line / length of string
• Tin snips
• Skillsaw or jigsaw / multitool (for floor only)
• Masonry drill and 10mm masonry bit (for Bolt Down Kit only)
