The Duratuf Otago Lifestyle Shed is highly configurable so you can tailor it to your site, your gear and how you like to work. From colour and access through to light and headroom, you can build a shed that genuinely fits your lifestyle.

• Layout flexibility – Choose your roller door width and position (centre, left or right on the front wall) to suit your driveway or access route.
• Light & ventilation – Add fixed and/or opening windows and optional clear roof panels to bring in natural light and fresh air where you need it.
• Access options – Include a pedestrian (PA) door for quick walk-in access, and add treadplates at door openings for extra durability.
• Headroom & storage height – Select extra wall height to create more vertical space for racking, tall tools or a more comfortable workshop environment.
• Colour selection – Choose between zincalume and a broad range of coloured steel options for walls, roof and door to match or complement other buildings.
• Interior fit-out friendly – The full timber frame makes it straightforward to fix tool hooks, shelves, and ply lining so you can organise and finish the interior to your own layout.

Door, Window & Access Options

• Roller door width upgrade (3000mm) – Increase the opening size to make it easier to get larger items such as boats, ride-on mowers or trailers in and out.
• Roller door position options – Choose centre, left or right on the front wall so you can align the door with your driveway, turning space or existing hardstand.
• Lifestyle fixed windows – Add one or more fixed windows to bring in natural light while maintaining a secure, sealed structure.
• Lifestyle opening windows – Improve ventilation and comfort by adding opening windows, ideal if you’re using the shed as a workshop or hobby space.
• Pedestrian access (PA) door – Add a side entry door for convenient everyday access without lifting the roller door.
• PA door treadplate – Protect the door threshold from wear and damage, especially in high-traffic areas.
• 2400mm roller door treadplate – Shield the roller door opening edge and reduce wear from vehicles and equipment.
• 3000mm roller door treadplate – Heavy-duty edge protection for the wider roller door option.

• Electric roller door opener with 2 remotes – Open and close the roller door at the touch of a button for convenient, everyday access. Comes with a standard 240V power cable (requires a household 240V wall socket installed by a certified electrician; electrical wiring not included).

• Heavy duty workbench – Create a solid work surface for tools, maintenance and DIY projects.
• Shed Alarm MA20 – Add a basic alarm to help deter opportunistic theft and improve peace of mind.

DIY Construction & Build Details

The Duratuf Otago Lifestyle Shed is supplied as a comprehensive kit with precut components, making it a straightforward project for an experienced DIYer or builder. The shed must be constructed in accordance with the building code, and bolt down kits are available for securing the structure to a concrete base.
