Customise Your Waimate Lifestyle Shed

The Duratuf Estate Waimate Lifestyle Shed is highly configurable so you can tailor it to your site, climate and how you like to store or work.

  • Cladding & Roof Finish: Choose between plain Zincalume or a wide range of modern coloursteel options for the walls and roof.
  • Door Colour: Coordinate or contrast the roller door colour with the walls and roof for a cohesive look.
  • Roller Door Position: Place the 2400mm roller door in the centre, left or right of the front wall to suit driveway access, fences or other obstacles.
  • Flooring Choice: Opt for no floor (for direct-to-concrete installs), a timber floor or a plywood floor depending on how you plan to use the space.
  • Natural Light: Add fixed and/or opening windows plus an optional clear roof panel to increase daylight and ventilation.
  • Access Options: Add a pedestrian access (PA) door for everyday use, with optional treadplates at roller and PA door thresholds.
  • Site Conditions: Select a peg-down or bolt-down kit to suit your foundation, and add a Very High Wind Zone kit or Coastal Upgrade where required.

The full timber frame also makes it easy to personalise the interior layout with shelving, hooks, workbenches and ply lining once the shed is installed.

Construction & DIY Information

The Duratuf Estate Waimate Lifestyle Shed is supplied as a comprehensive kit with precut timber framing and pre-formed steel components. It is straightforward for an experienced DIYer or builder who is comfortable working to the building code.

Timber framing is nailed together on site, with wall and roof cladding sheets screwed to the frame. Flashings and door tracks are then screwed or riveted into place. Bolt-down kits are available for securing the shed to a concrete slab.
