Customisation

Customisation & Setup Options

This Galvo GVO1515 shed is supplied as a standard kitset size with a fixed sloping‑roof layout. While the structure itself is not custom‑designed to order, you can tailor the way it works in your space through your choice of base and internal accessories.

  • Select either a wood floor kitset or a bolt‑down fixing package to suit your site (timber floor vs. concrete slab).
  • Add tool hooks to keep long‑handled tools off the floor and create more usable space.
  • Install shelf brackets and shelves to organise smaller tools, sprays, and accessories at a comfortable working height.
  • Use cabin hooks (single or pair) to hold the door open while you work, improving day‑to‑day usability.

By combining the right base and accessory options, you can configure this compact shed to suit everything from basic lawnmower storage through to a neatly organised garden tool store.

Accessory Options

Accessories & Add‑Ons

  • Wood Floor Kitset
Provides a solid timber floor solution when you don't have a concrete pad, creating a defined, dry platform for storing your gear.
  • Concrete Floor Bolt Package (set of 8)
Available for flat or recessed concrete floors, these bolt packs secure the shed to your slab for added stability and wind resistance.
  • Cabin Hooks
Keep the shed door held open securely, making access easier while you move tools and equipment in and out.
  • Tool Hooks (set of 4)
Hang rakes, spades, hoses, and other long‑handled tools off the floor to free up valuable floor space.
  • Shelf Brackets with Shelves
Support up to three shelves, giving you practical storage for smaller items, sprays, and hand tools.
  • Quality Pop Riveter
Suitable for fastening the shed's rivets during assembly, especially handy if you don't already own a riveter.

DIY Assembly

These sheds are designed to be DIY projects, however we also offer a full install service at fixed prices should you prefer someone else to do this for you. Typically a shed of this size would take one of the installers we use *one day*. See shed options for pricing.

The Galvo GVO1515 "Ebony" shed is designed for straightforward assembly by a competent DIYer. Wall sheets are joined with rivets, and the top and bottom channels are drilled and riveted. Once the wall and roof panels are prepared, the walls are stood up, drilled, and riveted together. The roof panels are fixed in the same way, followed by drilling and riveting the flashings. The door is made last and fitted using the supplied hinges.

If you have selected the optional floor kit, the precut runners and floorboards can be nailed together with a hammer. For the smoothest build, assemble the kitset floor before starting on the shed itself. Allow around half a day for installation for someone with good DIY skills.

DIY Difficulty Rating

  • Suitable for a competent DIYer; assembly is easier with two people for handling panels.
  • Estimated build time: approximately half a day.
