Construction & DIY Installation

The Galvo GVO1515 “Ironsand” shed is intended for confident DIYers with good basic skills. Components are supplied as steel sheets and channels that are joined using rivets, creating a straightforward but methodical build process.

• Suited to competent DIYers.
• Allow approximately half a day for installation for a competent DIYer (excluding foundation preparation).

Assembly Overview

• Join wall sheets with rivets into top and bottom channels, drilling and riveting as you go.
• Once all wall and roof panels are prepared, stand the wall panels up, then drill and rivet them together.
• Fix the roof panels in place in the same manner.
• Drill and rivet flashings to the shed to complete the weathering details.
• Assemble the door and fix it using the supplied hinges.
• If using the optional floor kit, assemble the precut runners and floorboards with nails and a hammer, and build the floor before starting on the shed itself.
