DIY Assembly

These sheds are designed to be DIY projects, however we also offer a full install service at fixed prices should you prefer someone else to do this for you. Typically a shed of this size would take one of the installers we use one day. See shed options for pricing.

DIY Construction & Assembly

The Garden Master GM1811 Garden Shed is designed for straightforward assembly by someone with good DIY skills. Wall sheets are joined with rivets to top and bottom channels, and once the wall and roof panels are prepared, they are stood up, drilled and riveted together. Flashings are then fixed, and the pre-hung door is attached using the supplied hinges. If you have chosen the optional floor kit, the precut runners and floorboards are simply nailed together before you start assembling the shed on top.

DIY Difficulty Rating

  • Competent DIY project; allow around half a day for installation for a competent DIYer.
