Customisation Options

The Garden Master GM3818 Garden Shed is highly configurable, allowing you to tailor its layout, colours, and features to suit your backyard and how you plan to use the space.

• Colour Choices: Select Alu‑Zinc or a wide range of colour finishes for the walls, roof, trim, and door to match your home and garden.
• Door Configuration: Choose between single or double doors, hinged or sliding operation, and adjust door locations on long or end walls. Additional doors can be added for multiple access points.
• Window Placement: Add louvre windows to the front, back, left, or right walls – and include extra windows where you want more light and airflow.
• Wall Height Adjustments: Increase the shed wall height by 150mm or 300mm to gain extra headroom or to store taller items more comfortably.
• Roof Lighting: Add one or two skylite roof sheets to bring natural light into work or storage areas.
• Internal Fit‑Out: Configure the interior with shelving brackets, tool hooks, and tool grip systems to keep gear organised and off the floor.

• GM3818 Wood Floor Kit: Precut wood floor kit designed to create a dedicated shed floor surface.
• Concrete Floor Bolt Package (Flat or Recessed): Bolt‑down kits (set of 8) for securely fixing the shed to a concrete floor pad.
• Frame Master Kit (Sure Frame or Kwik Frame): Frame kits to enhance structural support.
• Door Customisation (Single or Double Doors): Choose between the included single door or upgrade to double doors for wider access.
• Sliding Door Upgrade: Replace or add sliding doors, ideal where space is tight or access is restricted; sliding doors include a vertical pad‑bolt locking system in the top corner.
• Extra Doors: Add additional single or double doors, including on end walls, to create multiple access points.
• Cabin Hooks: Keep doors secured open for easier loading and ventilation.
• Locking T‑Handle: Upgrade the included or additional doors with a locking T‑handle for improved security (options for single or multiple handles).

• Extra Wall Height: Increase wall height by +150mm or +300mm to create more headroom and storage capacity.
• Skylite Roof Sheet: Add one or two skylight roof panels to bring natural light into the shed.
• Tool Hooks Sets: Sets of tool hooks to hang tools and equipment off the floor.
• Bruns Tool Grip: Wall‑mounted rail system supplied with six grippers to hold tools securely; additional grips or hooks can be added.
• Shed Shelving Brackets: Brackets to support up to three shelves (300mm deep) hung from the wall, keeping the floor free (brackets only; shelves supplied separately unless otherwise stated).
• Corner Flashing Upgrade: Corner trim upgrade to improve finish on the shed corners.

These sheds are designed to be DIY projects, however we also offer a full install service at fixed prices should you prefer someone else to do this for you. Typically a shed of this size would take one of the installers we use *one day*. See shed options for pricing.

DIY Construction & Assembly

Straightforward installation for someone with good DIY skills. Wall sheets are joined with rivets, and the top and bottom channels are drilled and riveted. Once all walls and roof panels are assembled, the wall panels are stood upright, then drilled and riveted together. The roof panels are fitted in the same manner, followed by drilling and riveting the flashings to the shed. Finally, the door is attached using the supplied hinges.

If you are using the optional floor kit, the precut runners and floorboards are simply nailed together with a hammer. If using a kitset floor, assemble the floor before starting on the shed structure.

DIY Difficulty Rating

• Intermediate DIY level; recommended as a two‑person job.
• Allow approximately a day and a half for a competent DIYer to complete installation.
