Customising Your Pinehaven Rangitoto Shed

The Rangitoto courtyard cupboard shed is designed as a modular panel system, giving you flexibility to adapt it to your space and storage requirements.

• Door options: Choose between a single door or standard double doors to suit the width of access you need and the layout of your courtyard or side yard.
• Roof colour choices: Select from a variety of pre‑painted steel roof colours so the shed can blend with or complement your home and other outdoor structures.
• Panelised construction: Modular panel design allows for straightforward assembly and the ability to configure doors (and any optional windows) where they best suit your site.
• Interior layout: Make use of the included shelves along the back wall and add optional shelving to create a storage setup that matches the tools and equipment you use most.
• Finish and appearance: Because the shed is supplied unpainted, you can choose stain or paint colours that match your outdoor décor while providing the required timber protection.

The Pinehaven Rangitoto shed can be tailored with a small selection of practical add‑ons to better suit your storage needs and site conditions.

• Roof colour upgrade
  Choose from a range of pre‑painted steel roof colours (such as Sandstone Grey, Titania, New Denim Blue, Iron Sand, Gull Grey, Ebony, Grey Friars, Flax Pod, Slate, Thunder Grey, Windsor Grey) instead of the standard Karaka. This allows you to match the shed roof to your home or surrounding structures.
• Main door configuration
  Select between a single door or standard double doors, depending on how wide you need the opening and the type of items you plan to store.
• Optional clear light roof panels
  Add clear light panels to increase natural light inside the shed, improving visibility for finding and organising stored items.
• Additional shelving
  Optional extra shelves can be added to expand storage capacity and keep smaller items neatly organised and off the floor.
• Optional lockable handle
  Upgrade to a locking T‑handle to improve security and help keep your belongings safely stored.

DIY Construction & Assembly

The Pinehaven Rangitoto Timber Garden Shed is supplied as a modular kitset with pre‑made panels, making it a realistic project for a competent DIYer.

• Straightforward installation for someone with good DIY skills.
• Allow approximately one day for installation for a competent DIYer.
• Modular assembly system: treated framing clad with pine weatherboards.
• Precut floor kit runners and floorboards that can be nailed together with a hammer.
• Panels are joined with silicone and bolts, with beads siliconed and nailed.
• Roof sheets and flashings are screwed to the shed, and the door is hung on site.
• Nail holes are filled with filler before staining with an oil‑based stain or painting with a water‑based paint.

DIY Difficulty Rating

• Intermediate DIY project; 1‑day build for a competent DIYer, with two people recommended for handling panels and roof sheets.
