The Garden Master GM1508 Garden Shed is highly configurable, allowing you to tailor it to your site layout, storage needs, and preferred look.

  • Door layout flexibility – Choose single or double doors, upgrade to sliding doors, and position the door on the wall that best suits your access (including front or backwall door location changes).
  • Window placement – Add louvre windows on the left side, right side, and/or back wall to bring in natural light and ventilation exactly where you need it.
  • Extra wall height – Increase wall height by up to 300mm (in 50mm increments) to create more headroom and better storage capacity for long‑handled tools and taller items.
  • Roof lighting – Include a skylite roof sheet to brighten the interior with natural overhead light.
  • Colour configuration – Select from a wide palette of colours for walls, roof, trims, and door, or choose Alu‑Zinc, to coordinate with your home and other outdoor structures.
  • Corner and framing options – Upgrade to corner flashings and add a Frame Master kit (Sure Frame or Kwik Frame) to suit your preferred finish and structural feel.
  • Interior fit‑out – Add shelving brackets, tool hooks, cabin hooks and a Bruns Tool Grip rail to optimise the limited floor area and keep a small mower and tools neatly organised.

DIY Assembly

These sheds are designed to be DIY projects, however we also offer a full install service at fixed prices should you prefer someone else to do this for you. Typically a shed of this size would take one of the installers we use one day. See shed options for pricing.

Construction & DIY Information

Straightforward installation for someone with good DIY skills. The shed is supplied in kitset form with pre‑formed steel panels and channels that are joined on site.

DIY Difficulty Rating

  • Intermediate DIY project, recommended as a two‑person job for handling wall and roof panels safely.
  • Allow around half a day for installation for a competent DIYer, not including site preparation.

Assembly Overview

  • Join wall sheets using rivets into the top and bottom channels, drilling and riveting as you go.
  • Once wall and roof panels are assembled, stand the wall panels up, then drill and rivet them together at the corners.
  • Install the roof panels in the same manner, ensuring alignment and proper overlap.
  • Drill and rivet the flashings to the shed to weatherproof the joins.
  • Attach the door using the supplied hinges and specified hardware.
  • If using the optional floor kit, assemble the precut runners and floorboards first with nails and a hammer, creating a level platform before you start on the shed.
