Customisation

Customisation options

The Garden Master GM1511 is highly configurable, allowing you to tailor the shed to your site, storage needs, and preferred look.

  • Colour selection
Choose Alu-Zinc or coloured finishes and mix and match wall, roof, trim, and door colours from a wide palette including Desert Sand, Grey Friars, Gull Grey, Iron Sand, Karaka, Sandstone, Smooth Cream, Ebony, Slate Grey, Titania, and Alu-Zinc.
  • Door layout & style
Start with the included single door, or configure single or double doors. Change the door location on the long wall or end walls, and upgrade to a sliding door where swing space is limited.
  • Additional access
Add extra single doors, including on the end wall, to create multiple entry points for different zones within the shed.
  • Windows & natural light
Add louvre windows on the left, right, or back walls and include a skylite roof sheet to bring natural light deep into the shed while maintaining ventilation.
  • Wall height adjustments
Increase wall height by +150mm or +300mm to accommodate taller users or long-handled tools and equipment.
  • Finishing details
Choose corner flashing upgrades and a range of hardware accessories (cabin hooks, lock T-handles, Securi-Door options, tool storage and shelving) to fine-tune usability and security.

This flexibility makes it easy to configure the GM1511 to suit tight spaces, orient doors to existing paths or fences, and position windows where they catch the best light.

Accessory Options

Accessories & add-ons

Enhance the functionality, security, and usability of your Garden Master GM1511 with a wide selection of compatible accessories:

  • GM1511 Wood Floor Kit
Provides a dedicated timber floor surface for your shed, helping to keep contents cleaner and drier and simplifying installation when a concrete pad is not used.
  • Concrete Floor Bolt Down Package (Flat or Recessed)
Securely anchors the shed to a concrete floor pad, improving stability and wind resistance on both flat and recessed slabs.
  • Frame Master Kit (Sure Frame or Kwik Frame)
Additional framing support options to further stiffen the structure and improve robustness of the shed frame.
  • Hinged or Sliding Door Upgrade
Choose between the standard hinged door or upgrade to a sliding door, ideal where space is restricted or access in front of the shed is limited. Sliding doors include a vertical pad bolt locking system in the top corner.
  • Door Customisation & Extra Doors
Configure single or double doors and choose where they are placed on any wall. Add extra single doors, including on the end wall, for more convenient access to different parts of the shed.
  • Cabin Hooks
Keep doors propped open securely while you work in and out of the shed, preventing doors from swinging in the wind.
  • Locking T-Handle
Adds easy, key-operated security to your shed door and can be keyed to match, helping protect tools and equipment.
  • Securi-Door (Double Padbolt)
Additional padbolt system for included or extra doors, increasing door security and making it harder for thieves to force entry.
  • Louvre Windows (Left, Right, or Back)
Provide ventilation and natural light, supplied with glass, helping reduce condensation and making the interior more pleasant to work in.
  • Extra Wall Height (+150mm or +300mm)
Raises overall shed height in 150mm increments, useful for taller users or storing longer objects and tools.
  • Skylite Roof Sheet
A skylight roof panel that lets natural light into the shed, improving visibility without needing power.
  • Corner Flashing Upgrade
Enhanced corner trim option for a neater finish and added protection at external corners.
  • Tool Hooks (set of 4)
Handy hooks for hanging tools off the wall, freeing up valuable floor space and keeping gear organised.
  • Shelf Brackets (supports 3 shelves)
Brackets that support up to three 300mm-deep shelves, allowing you to create organised storage along the walls while keeping the floor clear. (Shelves included per description.)
  • Bruns Tool Grip
Rail with grippers designed to be screwed or riveted to the shed wall, providing secure, adjustable storage for tools and accessories.

DIY Assembly

These sheds are designed to be DIY projects, however we also offer a full install service at fixed prices should you prefer someone else to do this for you. Typically a shed of this size would take one of the installers we use one day. See shed options for pricing.

DIY construction & installation

Straightforward installation for someone with good DIY skills. Wall sheets are joined with rivets, and the top and bottom channels are drilled and riveted. Once the walls and roof panels are joined, stand the wall panels up, then drill and rivet them together. The roof panels are fitted in the same manner, followed by drilling and riveting the flashings to the shed. Finally, attach the door with the supplied hinges.

The optional floor kit includes precut runners and floorboards that can be nailed together with a hammer. If you are using the kitset floor, assemble it before starting on the shed itself. Allow approximately half a day for installation for a competent DIYer.
