Customisation & Setup Options

This SmartStore Gable SM3020 Zinc shed can be tailored to suit how you use your backyard storage, with options that influence light levels, flooring, and how the shed is secured to its base.

• Lighting: Add one or two clear roof panels to increase natural light inside the shed.
• Flooring choices: Choose the optional pre-cut treated timber floor, or use the raised floor modification when installing on a concrete base.
• Anchoring options: Select from peg down or bolt down ground fastening kits to match your site conditions.
• Internal fit-out potential: The semi-timber frame allows for additional studs to be added later so you can mount shelves, hooks, and other storage solutions.

Optional Accessories & Upgrades

• Wooden Floor (Pre-Cut Treated Timber Floor)
  Adds rigidity to the shed, makes it easier to relocate, and provides a stable, treated timber surface underfoot.
• Ground Fastening Kits (Peg Down Kit / Bolt Down Kit)
  Secure the shed to your chosen base for improved stability and resistance to movement in wind.
• Clear Roof Panels (Single or 2 x Clear Roof Panels)

These sheds are designed to be DIY projects, however we also offer a full install service at fixed prices should you prefer someone else to do this for you. Typically a shed of this size would take one of the installers we use *one day*. See shed options for pricing.

DIY Build & Difficulty

Straightforward installation for someone with good DIY skills. Wall sheets are nailed to the precut timber framing, and the wall sections are joined together with rivets. A ridge beam supports the roof sheets, with flashings and the door assembled on site. The optional floor kit uses precut joists and floorboards, with a few small notches required for the studs; the floor can be nailed together with a hammer. Allow a day and a bit for installation for a competent DIYer.

• Intermediate DIY project – best as a 2-person job, allowing around a day and a bit for a competent DIYer.
