DIY Construction & Assembly

The Finger Jointed Cedar Montrose Timber Garden Shed is designed with a modular panel system to make installation straightforward for someone with good DIY skills. The treated framing is pre‑clad with cedar weatherboards, and the panels are joined on site.

DIY Difficulty Rating

• Intermediate DIY project.

• Allow around two days for a competent DIYer to complete the build.

Construction Overview

• Assemble the optional floor kit from precut runners and floorboards, which can be nailed together with a hammer.
• Position and fix the modular wall panels, which come with treated framing clad in cedar weatherboards.
• Join the panels together using silicone and bolts; silicone and nail the beads as specified.
• Install the roof by screwing the roof sheets and flashings to the shed, or fitting the pre‑made shingle roof.
• Hang the solid door and fit the hardware.

Once complete, step back, admire your work, and enjoy the extra space.
