The Duratuf Kapiti Lifestyle Cabin is designed to be configured around how you plan to use it and the specific conditions on your site. From colour and glazing to window selection and wall height, you can create a layout that works for an office, studio, accommodation, or storage.

• Cladding & Flashing Colour Choices – Select from an extensive colour palette for cladding and flashings, allowing you to match your home or surrounding buildings.
• Zincalume or Coloured Finish – Choose the standard Zincalume finish or upgrade to a coloured steel finish for a more architectural look.
• Ranch Slider Options – Use Duratuf’s single or double glazed ranch sliders or supply your own custom doors (such as French doors or doors with sidelights) to suit your layout and aesthetic.
• Window Configuration – Mix and match fixed and opening windows, in single or double glazing, to achieve the light, views, and ventilation you want.
• Joinery Colour – Coordinate the ranch slider and window joinery colours with the cladding for a cohesive exterior.
• Extra Wall Height – Optional additional 390mm wall height gives more headroom and flexibility for interior fit‑out and tall furniture.
• Interior Fit‑Out Friendly – The full timber frame and supplied building paper make it straightforward to insulate, line with ply or similar products, and fix shelving, hooks, and storage systems wherever you need them.

Construction & DIY Information

The Duratuf Kapiti Lifestyle Cabin is supplied as a kitset with precut timber framing, wall and roof steel, and the necessary flashings and components. It is a straightforward build for a builder or for people with solid building experience, and must be constructed in accordance with the applicable building code.
