Customisation Options

The Duratuf Fortress WS 50 Woodshed offers a number of configuration and finish options, allowing you to tailor the building to your property and environment.

• Cladding finish: Select either standard Zincalume or an optional coloured finish.
• Wall colour choices: Karaka, Mist Green, Lichen, Grey Friars, Thunder Grey, Titania, Ebony, Ironsand, or Nightfall.
• Trim & roof colour choices: Match or contrast with the same palette: Karaka, Mist Green, Lichen, Grey Friars, Thunder Grey, Titania, Ebony, Ironsand, or Nightfall.
• Extra wall height: Add 200 mm of wall height for more storage capacity if required.
• Coastal upgrade: Specify the coastal upgrade where site conditions call for it.

The full timber frame also makes it straightforward to add internal linings such as ply if you wish to further enclose or customise the interior.

Optional Accessories & Upgrades

• WS 50 Wooden Floor
  Add a dedicated timber floor to keep your firewood up off the ground and help maintain a tidier, more stable storage surface.
• Peg Down Kit (Ground Fastening)
  Secure the woodshed to the ground with pegs for added stability in softer ground conditions.
• Bolt Down Kit (Ground Fastening)
  Bolt the woodshed to a concrete pad or similar hard surface for a solid, permanent hold.
• Extra Wall Height (200 mm)
  Increase the wall height by 200 mm to gain additional vertical storage space for taller wood stacks.
• Coastal Upgrade
  Upgrade the specification for added suitability in coastal environments.
• Coloured Cladding, Trim & Roof
  Choose from a wide range of colours for walls, trim, and roof to match or complement other buildings on your property.

These sheds are designed to be DIY projects, however we also offer a full install service at fixed prices should you prefer someone else to do this for you. Typically a shed of this size would take one of the installers we use *one day*. See shed options for pricing.

DIY Build & Installation

The Duratuf Fortress WS 50 Woodshed is supplied with precut timber framing and accurately cut steel cladding, making it a straightforward project for someone with good DIY skills. Precut studs and nogs are nailed together to form the frame, followed by fixing seven sheets of steel to the walls and two sheets to the roof, along with flashings and door tracks. If you choose the optional floor kit, the precut joists and floorboards require only a few small notches for the studs before being nailed together.

Allow approximately one day for installation for a competent DIYer.
