Customisation Options

The Garden Master GM3011 is highly configurable, allowing you to tailor the shed to your site, storage needs, and preferred look.

Layout & Access

• Door Type: Choose between a standard single door or upgrade to double doors for wider access.
• Sliding or Hinged Doors: Opt for space-saving sliding doors or stick with traditional hinged doors, depending on clearance in front of the shed.
• Door Positioning: Move the main door from the default position to alternative locations on the long wall or end walls, and add extra doors (including end-wall doors) wherever they best suit your access requirements.

Light, Air & Height

• Louvre Windows: Add louvre windows to the front, sides, or back walls, with options for extra windows to increase light and airflow where you need it most.
• Skylite Roof Sheets: Incorporate one or two skylite roof panels to allow natural light into the shed without using wall space.
• Extra Wall Height: Increase the shed wall height by +150mm or +300mm (in 50mm increments as specified), useful if you are tall or need to store longer objects.

Colours & Finish

• Finish Type: Choose between Alu-Zinc or coloured steel cladding.
• Component Colours: Independently select colours for walls, roof, trims, and doors from a wide palette, making it easy to match or contrast with your house, fence, or other buildings.
• Corner Trim Options: Choose a standard corner or upgrade to corner flashings for a sharper, more finished appearance and added edge protection.

Foundation & Flooring

• GM3011 Wood Floor Kit: Precut runners and floorboards provide a dedicated timber floor for your shed, making installation straightforward and giving you a solid, clean surface for storage.
• Concrete Floor Bolt Packages (Flat or Recessed): Sets of 8 bolts for securing your shed to a concrete floor pad, helping to keep the shed firmly anchored in high winds and over the long term.

Framing & Structural Upgrades

• Frame Master Kits (Sure Frame or Kwik Frame): Additional framing support options designed to stiffen the shed structure, improving rigidity and overall robustness.
• Corner Flashing Upgrade: Enhanced corner trim to protect vulnerable edges, tidy up corners, and improve the finished look of your shed.

Door Options & Security

• Single or Double Doors: Choose between the included single door or upgrade to double doors if you need wider access for bulkier items.
• Sliding Door Upgrade: Replace standard hinged doors with sliding doors – ideal where space in front of the shed is limited or access is restricted.
• Extra Doors: Add additional single or double doors, including end-wall options, to create multiple access points and improve internal flow.
• Cabin Hooks: Keep doors securely held open while you work, preventing them from slamming in wind and making loading and unloading easier.
• Lock T-Handles: Upgrade door handles to locking T-handles (for included or additional doors) to improve everyday usability and security.
• Securi-Door Double Padbolt Options: Add double padbolts to single or double doors (including additional doors) for extra locking points and improved protection for your valuables.

Windows, Light & Ventilation

• Louvre Windows: Optional louvre windows (glass included) on front, sides, or back walls provide controllable ventilation and natural light to reduce condensation and brighten the interior. Extra window positions are available.
• Skylite Roof Sheets: Add one or two skylite roof panels to bring additional natural light into the shed without sacrificing wall space.

Storage & Organisation

• Tool Hooks (Set of 4): Wall-mounted hooks that help keep tools off the floor, organised, and easy to access. Multiple sets available for larger tool collections.
• Shelf Brackets (for 3 shelves): Brackets designed to support up to three shelves (300mm deep), hanging from the wall to maximise floor space while adding versatile storage (shelves included as specified).
• Bruns Tool Grip Rail: A rail with six grippers that can be screwed or riveted to the shed wall, ideal for securely holding brooms, rakes, and similar long-handled tools. Additional grips or hooks can be added to the rail.

Colour & Finish Options

• Alu-Zinc or Coloured Finish: Choose a durable Alu-Zinc finish or upgrade to a range of coloursteel-style options to match your home and landscape.
• Wall, Roof, Trim & Door Colours: Select from multiple colour choices (including neutrals and darker tones) independently for walls, roof, trims, and doors to create a coordinated or contrasting look.

Construction & DIY Information

These sheds are designed to be DIY projects, however we also offer a full install service at fixed prices should you prefer someone else to do this for you. Typically a shed of this size would take one of the installers we use one day. See shed options for pricing.

DIY Difficulty Rating

DIY Level: Suitable for a competent DIYer; best as a 1-day project for someone with good DIY skills.

The shed is supplied in high tensile steel sheets and channels. Wall sheets are joined with rivets, and top and bottom channels are drilled and riveted. Once the wall and roof panels are assembled, they are stood up, drilled, and riveted together. Flashings are then drilled and riveted on, and finally the door is attached with the supplied hinges. The optional precut floor kit nails together with a hammer and is best assembled before starting on the shed.
