Customisation Options

The Pinehaven Ruahine Timber Garden Shed offers flexibility so you can tailor it to both your site and how you plan to use it.

• Door placement: Standard door is on the long wall, but it can be moved to the end wall if you don’t have space for it to swing open along the side.
• Roof colour selection: Choose from a standard Karaka roof or a wide range of alternative colours to complement your home and fencing.
• Door configuration: Select the standard single door or upgrade to a double door for easier movement of bulkier items.
• Window options: Add fixed or opening aluminium windows (in your choice of quantity) to balance natural light and ventilation.
• Internal storage layout: Optional timber shelving in 1000mm x 300mm sections allows you to create organised storage zones.
• Exterior finish: The shed is supplied unpainted so you can paint or stain it in colours that match your house or garden structures, while protecting the timber.

• Wooden Floor Kit
  Precut timber runners and floorboards that can be nailed together to create a solid, integrated shed floor.
• Roof Colour Options
  Standard Karaka roof or a wide range of alternative colours (Sandstone Grey, Titania, New Denim Blue, Iron Sand, Gull Grey, Ebony, Grey Friars, Flax Pod, Slate, Thunder Grey, Windsor Grey) to match your home and landscaping.

  Available in 1 or 2 sets to organise smaller tools, paints, and gardening supplies off the floor.

DIY Construction & Installation

The Pinehaven Ruahine Timber Garden Shed is supplied as a modular kitset of premade panels with all hardware included. Assembly is straightforward for someone with good DIY skills, and a competent DIYer should allow about one day for installation.

DIY difficulty rating

• Intermediate DIY level
• Recommended as at least a 2-person job for handling panels and roof sheets safely

Construction overview

• Assemble the treated framing clad with pine weatherboards using the modular panel system.
• Join wall panels together with silicone and bolts, then silicone and nail the beads.
• Install the optional precut wooden floor kit by nailing runners and floorboards together on a level foundation.
• Screw roof sheets and flashings to the shed.
• Hang the door and fit any windows and accessories selected.
• Fill nail holes with filler, then paint with a water-based paint or stain with an oil-based stain to protect the timber.
